Meet
DJ TJ

TJ, aka, TEEJAYtheDEEJAY, started DJing at the tender age of 16, getting his break at the local NCO & Officer’s clubs located on Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, NH.  As he continued his education at Portsmouth & Oyster River High Schools, he perfected his skills at school dances and proms.

TJ took a brief hiatus, by joining the U.S. Navy and served for four years.  Upon returning home from the Navy, TJ continued to pursue his love of music by DJing at local clubs (Rascals in Portsmouth, NH, Mojitos & RJ’s in Dover, NH and Surfside in Salisbury Beach, MA to name a few), in addition to providing DJ and lighting services for weddings, corporate events, proms, class reunions, anniversary/birthday parties, etc.

On any given weekend, TJ can be potentially found at a number of venues in the Seacoast New Hampshire, Maine & Massachusetts areas.

TJ was amazing! He was super accommodating, friendly and personable. Our guests couldn’t say enough about how great they were and we can’t either! Our guests could have danced all night! He was so accommodating to the last minute changes and requests we made in order to incorporate some of our “not so traditional” family traditions into our special day. He gave us some of our favorite memories from our wedding day. We had such a good time, TJ was wonderful! We are so appreciative!

DJ TJ was great, everything was very smooth and he did an amazing job on our wedding day. All of the song requests we made prior to the wedding were fulfilled with no issues, all of the announcements went perfectly, and he was flexible during the reception to adjust the schedule as needed. He definitely helped make it a very fun night for us and our guests! DJ Elen was also great during the planning stage – very responsive to our questions and requests, very thorough and detail- oriented, and the online portal they provide for planning was easy to use. The coordination prior to our event with Double Platinum was excellent. All in all it was a great experience!

DJ TJ was absolutely incredible for our wedding! He did such an amazing job keeping the dance floor going all night long and playing songs and genres that we had requested. Prior to the day of our wedding, Double Platinum was so responsive, easy to work with and helped us feel prepared for the big day. With COVID, we ended up having to move our date a few times and they were so accommodating and made it so simple for me. I would highly recommend using Double Platinum Records again in the future!

Book double platinum celebrations! They made the lead up to the wedding incredibly easy, whether us was answering questions about flow of music or song selections. We had TJ and Elen and they were incredible! They played the music we wanted and all of our guests expressed how much fun they had! Tj was a great MC and made the experience so enjoyable! Definitely recommend them, our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them 🙂

My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of town so we had to select most of our vendors based on online reviews, without having a chance to meet anyone. Double Platinum had great reviews! I had a few phone conversations with Elen and I knew it was a good fit. The online portal was so easy and convenient! I could go on any time of day and request new songs. Our wedding venue required set up in a few different locations, Elen + TJ handled it without an issue. It was so nice to have them!

DJ Elen and TJ were our DJ’s for our wedding last month. They did an amazing job of making sure we were all on the same page as far as the timeline of events for the evening would go. I loved the online portal in which we could make changes, add/remove songs or dances, and exchange notes back and forth. I felt very comfortable going into the event knowing exactly what to expect. The reception went absolutely perfectly, and Elen and TJ were both very helpful, friendly and fun to have at the celebration. Everyone was impressed with their performance and my guests had an amazing time dancing and requesting songs. Highly recommend!

Such a great job with our wedding! From the planning of everything to the actual wedding day. They have a very detailed planning website to request songs and plan games and help them stay organized. They listened to all of our wants/ needs for our day, and made sure everything ran smoothly. As an added bonus, we even got some photos and a video that they put together for us, without us even asking or expecting. I couldn’t recommend this DJ enough!
