DJ Mark

DJ Mark has been entertaining people for years. Mark was renowned for hosting some of the most illustrious “House Parties” in the Greater Portland Area. Always the consummate host, one could always expect a fun filled atmosphere with, music, music, and more music.

Whether it be a live band, or Mark spinning all of your favorite songs, you could be assured the dancing never stopped, and a great time was had by all. Mark has always enjoyed bringing a smile to people’s faces, and providing a memorable evening of entertainment.

The personal planning and detail that goes into every wedding or function shows his dedication to the profession of DJ’ing. Mark says, “I want you, the client, to say “WOW! I have never seen that before.” Mark is frequently sought after by many destination clients and usually teams up with DJ Pat for some of the larger scale weddings and events.

We aren’t sure where to even begin with how great DJ Mark was!! We want to sing from the rooftops about his talent and professionalism. Leading up to the wedding, I was scattered and nervous – he kept us calm and kindly followed up when we needed it. DJ Mark was flexible and molded exactly to the style we needed. Rob and I have received countless requests of his contact information because of how excellent his “music mix” was. The tool to upload some song requests was user friendly. Throughout the entire process DJ Mark was always available for whatever we needed and had a genuine caring in making our wedding day exactly how we envisioned. When I say the dance floor was packed the entire night, I mean it….video attached. We are already thinking up an excuse to try to have another event soon just so DJ Mark can spin that turntable again for us! Sending our sincerest gratitude!!

We LOVED having DJ Mark at our wedding! He was very easy to communicate with leading up to the event which we appreciated. He was great in helping make the wedding run smoothly all the way from the ceremony, cocktail hour to the last song. All the songs played were very appropriate for the age group there and people literally did not leave the dance floor all night. I would recommend him to anyone!

We had a great time with Mark. He was very responsive during the planning process whenever we had any questions. On the day of the wedding, he was already prepared when our officiant preferred the pin on microphone instead of a handheld. The music choices were great and he had everyone out on the dance floor the entire time. It was a fantastic time. We would highly recommend DJ Mark!

Our experience was AWESOME. DJ Mark was not only attentive to our wants/needs/dislikes for the entire day, he also was accessible via phone and email with every question we had. The ceremony music was flawless, and transitioned nicely to the dinner and reception playlist. One thing that was extra special, and unprompted, was that he read the “advice cards” we put out for guests to fill out – which provided a lot of laughs. The night only improved when it came to dancing! DJ Mark put on a variety of tunes, which never emptied the dance floor. He accepted special requests, even threw in some family dance songs. We would HIGHLY recommend your service, and him in particular, for anyone who is looking for an easy, collaborative, and enjoyable music experience at their event.

My now-husband Charlie and I had a very specific vision for the music at our wedding. We LOVED the fact that when we chose Double Platinum, we were given access to an online portal that allowed us to make playlists of songs we definitely wanted played, possibly wanted played, and absolutely did not want to hear. We especially appreciated that we were able to choose songs from Youtube, since that’s where we found our songs for the ceremony. Along the way, DJ Jason was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. On our wedding day, he did an amazing job of weaving our song choices together to keep the dance floor full. Overall, working with Double Platinum and DJ Jason was a great experience and gave our wedding the exact vibe we were hoping for!
