Meet
DJ Liam

Liam is a Massachusetts-based DJ with experience DJing weddings, private events, and nightlife in the Boston area. A native of Marblehead, MA, Liam graduated from UMass Amherst in 2019 with a Marketing degree. From there, Liam moved straight to Boston, where he began DJing weddings, corporate parties, birthdays, and other private events. Liam was then given the opportunity to take a step in Boston nightlife, and was the resident DJ at both Wild Rover and Sissy K’s for two years. In 2021, Liam joined the Big Night Entertainment team as a DJ, and played venues such as The Grand, Empire, Scorpion Bar, and Mystique, among many others. While becoming more ingrained in Boston, Liam has maintained his love for weddings, continuing to DJ weddings and private events when he is not in the city.

Liam is a deeply passionate and dedicated DJ who prides himself on bringing his music knowledge and deep library to each event he plays. Liam loves working with couples to ensure that their vision for their wedding day is executed perfectly, from the start of the day through to the last song of the night.

We worked with Double Platinum for our wedding and our DJ’s name was Liam. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience! First of all, Liam was a really good communicator leading up to the wedding. Not only was he really easy to reach if we had questions or concerns, but we felt like he was really supportive and open to hearing our ideas for music and how we wanted it to kind of tie into the vibe of our wedding. Our venue required a few location changes throughout the night and he was prepared for that and had all of the necessary equipment so there were no awkward lapses etc with the music. For the dancing portion of our wedding, we sent him a small playlist of songs we liked as an example of our personal likes/preferences and he literally made it into the perfect dance playlist for us. Everyone was on the dance floor having a great time, even my dad who can be notoriously picky with music said he loved the playlist. It just felt really fun and accessible to everyone there without being boring or overplayed. He also had great instincts about when to mix into the next song so I felt like we were getting the best parts of all of the songs he played. We had such a great experience with him and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone for their wedding/event.

“DJ Liam was great, his process for collecting our songs and event details was super easy using the online program. He provided us with some sample playlists prior to the event to review which helped us make some final suggestions and he took every one of them into account. He was timely and helped keep our event going. It was a less formal timeline, and he kept it very flexible and adjusted on the fly easily. The music selection was great and he was able to keep the party going. Very pleased, would recommend and use him again for sure.”

He did an amazing job. I’ve known him since I was a kid and I knew he would be the perfect option.  He met with me to figure out exactly what type of music I wanted for each part of my wedding, and helped me edit my first dance song to make the speed perfect.  He sent me playlists that I was able to edit and he was open to all of my feedback! He was also an amazing announcer on the day of and everyone loved the dance music he played! 
 
I would absolutely hire him again.
