DJ Kevin was absolutely great. We required a very specific playlist with a style of music to fit the aesthetic we were going for. A few DJs (Not Double Platinum) had told me they couldn’t accommodate this request. From the very beginning, Kevin was on board and willing to be very flexible about what we wanted. He and I worked back and forth over numerous emails and a few calls, tailoring the music down to each song to make the day stand out and special to us. The whole process was a breeze and alleviated a lot of the intimidation and stress that can come with wedding planning. His equipment is first rate and the uplighting was a fantastic add-on that just wouldn’t have been the same had we not gone for it. On the day of, he was extremely professional, worked with the venue and other vendors exceptionally well, and gave our day the exact vibe and personality we were going for. We couldn’t have pulled it off with anyone else. Thank you!

DJ Kevin was AMAZING and kept the party going all night long! We had a very long wedding, and I remember him telling me that people might start dropping off at the end, but he would do his best to keep them out on the dance floor, and he sure did! Barely anyone left before it was over, and everyone said they couldn’t get enough of his music/song choices. I hadn’t been to a lot of weddings before my own, and DJ Kevin really took the time to explain the music for walking down the aisle, introductions, and first dances and gave me a few traditional suggestions as well as some cool out of the box suggestions. He REALLY knows what he’s talking about when it comes to music and getting people dancing. Before the wedding he mentioned he would scan the crowd, assess their ages/demographics, etc. to choose the right songs to get people up and dancing, and he was able to get even the stubbornest people to start dancing! To me, that is service that goes well above and beyond what I was expecting. I would highly, highly, highly, recommend Double Platinum Celebrations and specifically DJ Kevin. Phenomenal experience!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than DJ Kevin for our wedding! He kept the dancefloor packed all night long and really followed our music suggestions. The portal they use to plan out music for the day is extremely convenient and easy to use. His communication was great and he really seemed passionate about wanting to get to know what the couple wants. He took pictures throughout the night and even sent an audio recording of the ceremony and all the speeches which was amazing as I was regreting not getting a videographer but that helped alleviate some of that regret. Kevin was so great and I highly recommend!

DJ Kevin was fantastic to work with for our wedding! Pricing was great, and communication was excellent from the initial price quote all the way to our big day. The online tool to build your playlists & schedule was easy to use, and when we followed up with Kevin in the days before the wedding it was clear he had taken the time to go over our selections and get a good idea of what we were looking for. On the day of, he arrived early and got everything set up before we even knew he was there! He was friendly, fun, and easy to coordinate with. He listened to our special requests (like a specific timestamp to start my bridal procession song) and did a fantastic job with the theming of the music we were going for. He even went and downloaded some fun songs from a video game we really loved and had set up for our guests, just because he thought it would be fun (it was! Everyone loved it!). I would definitely hire Kevin again for future events, and highly recommend him for a personalized, energetic, and overall fantastic night!

DJ Kevin was the perfect MC for our special day! He was professional, enthusiastic, and a joy to work with. His versatile music knowledge enabled him to capture the “vibes” we gave him for the ceremony, 2 hour cocktail hour, reception dinner, and dancing. From our first phone call to the day of, Kevin was communicative and fun, and couldn’t have done a better job taking our vague musical directions and running with it. Each aspect of our day was filled with the perfect musical accompaniments that enhanced our day and helped make it extremely memorable. Even the technical aspects, sound design, volume, equipment, were all handled extremely professionally and allowed us to have the ceremony and reception of our dreams. Thank you DJ Kevin!

DJ Kevin made our wedding night incredibly fun for our guests. We had our wedding on NYE and he kept the dance floor packed for 3 straight hours. Our guests were afraid to leave the dance floor to get a drink because the music was so captivating. Kevin took our “vibe” and rolled with it. His timing during the ceremony, recessional, processional, introductions, father/daughter, mother/son dances was perfect. If you want to make sure your wedding guests stay on the dance floor you need to hire Kevin!

Kevin was the absolute best DJ we could’ve asked for! He was so much fun to work with through the process, he had an amazing tool that kept us so organized and was so talented in keeping the crowd engaged. He would transition songs when they got too long and really knew how to keep people dancing and singing. He was also so thoughtful and recorded a high quality audio of my dad’s toast for us. I can’t recommend him enough, he is the highest rated DJ for a reason!

Dj Kevin was AMAZING! From consultation- wedding day he was extremely helpful and communicated with us about everything we were looking for. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We had an amazing day and are so thankful we picked DJ Kevin for our special day!

We cannot recommend DJ Kevin highly enough! He is so easy to work with and set such a fun tone throughout our wedding. The dance floor was full the whole night and he easily accommodated whatever last minute changes were asked of him. He played all our favorite songs and kept the energy high from start to finish. Kevin took the time to understand exactly how we wanted our wedding day to flow and then made it happen. He even recorded our ceremony and the toasts and sent it to us after, which was incredibly special since we didn’t have a videographer. We had an all around fantastic experience with DJ Kevin!

From the jump, I immediately had a great feeling about DJ Kevin from Double Platinum Celebrations! The first phone call felt far more personable than any other DJ I spoke with and I truly felt like he wanted to get to know my wife and I. We knew it was going to be a younger vibe at the wedding, with majority of the attendees being between 25-35 so we were looking for a DJ who could make that work and get everyone dancing the entire night. Kevin worked closely with us leading up to the wedding to ensure we had a solid playlist and he kept to it! Everyone was dancing the entire time and loving every minute! We even had a server come up to us at the end of the night to tell us it was the best music she has heard at a wedding ever and to pass her compliments along to the DJ! We can’t stop talking about how amazing the night was a huge part of that was credit to DJ Kevin’s amazing work, from making sure everything went smoothly during the ceremony to keeping the energy up on the dance floor! We would HIGHLY recommend working with Double Platinum and DJ Kevin for your wedding!!

DJ Kevin was kind hearted and organized from start to finish for our wedding day. We had an initial meeting to make sure our personalities match, and then he gave us the freedom to create a playlist and ideas for our wedding day. His announcing abilities and song transitions were amazing. Everyone is still raving about how our amazing our DJ was. He was fun, professional, kind, charismatic, and organized. We truly couldn’t have picked a better DJ.

DJ Kevin was INCREDIBLE. He was professional, thoughtful, personable, and helpful throughout the entire process. He was extremely responsive through all communication and the online music tool was very helpful. We received multiple compliments after our wedding from family and friends about the professionalism of the DJ and how “fun” the wedding was, mainly the dance floor that never stopped.
